ANOTHER RENTER CONVERTED INTO HOME BELIEVER: Happy in Suisun. I met my client at Popyeyes in Vallejo to buy a Taira for a little girl. I asked her if she owned a home, and she said no a realtor had tried but failed. I told her I could get her into a home, and she responded really, you can? I said yes I can and I had a lender with a down payment program. We got on board when the market was hot, like 40 offers on one home. We kept getting overbid and they were losing their market. I didn’t give up and this home was the first she saw that she loved, but it went into contract. I had to get creative, so after exhaustive outbid efforts, I noticed this home was pending for over 30 days. As your buyer’s agent, one of many things all my home believers have appreciated is that I never give up! In this case, having to compete with 20, 30 40 offers is disheartening, but I had to try another way, and so, by going back to see if any potential pending contracts were taking too long. My buyer’s got the home they lost out on at first, and the backup offer, even with 3% seller’s credit got them the home of their dreams.
