Martin Luther King Day by Mary Ann Cadorna ©01-20-2014
In honor of MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, by Author, Poet, and Writer: Writing gives a voice to emotions, events, philosophy, thoughts, and contemplation.
It’s one of the human ways for us to express what we are feeling and how we are moved positively or negatively. But the written word has always been a marker of mankind’s history and a testimony to our humanity, or lack thereof. It is also what we fall back on for the written record.
Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, and this poem, which I wrote in honor of Martin Luther King Day, honors his sacrifice for equal rights, which led to our Civil Rights.
Please share his message of peace and equality.
