How do you choose when all the advertisements push you to their brands, and with trying to be clever tag lines that are meant to attract you?
First, you have to make sure it is a good and comfortable fit! Here’s why, if you’re selling your working relationship could be a duration of 90 days or at times up to a year. However, If you are buying it can be thirty days or up to six months or more if buying your first home.
Secondly, for me when I am the buyer of anything, it’s based on the relationship that I seek, I want someone trustworthy, and I know they are giving me good information and their intent is to provide me what I am seeking not what they want to sell me. Then I have the confidence to know it’s not just about the sale, it’s about walking away happy and informed that it was a good transaction.
Thirdly, and similarly, as they say in the Bible (“treat others the way you want to be treated”) my own expectations are the same principles that I provide to my buyers and sellers. I truly listen and focus solely on their wants and needs. More often than not, to their surprise, I get them into homes they never believed they could have bought because I wanted the very best for them!
